Smok is a public directory where people vote on whether a listing adds value or sells smoke, and write one experience each about it. Using the site means accepting what follows, and paying for a listing means confirming you have read it.
What this site publishes
Everything on a listing is opinion. A percentage is a count of what people clicked; a written experience is one person's account of what happened to them. Neither is a finding of fact, neither has been verified by us, and neither should be read as a statement about anyone's honesty, competence or conduct.
We do not investigate listings before they appear. A listing going live means somebody paid to create it, nothing more.
Listing something
Anyone with an account can pay to list a project, a website, a product or a profile. If the listing is about an identifiable person, doing so confirms it is about a public figure or creator in their public capacity, that the details are accurate, and that you are not using the site to harass a private individual.
You may not list a minor, publish anyone's home address, phone number, identity document or other private data, or create a listing whose purpose is to threaten, defame or impersonate.
The fee buys a position on the board from the moment the payment clears. It does not buy immunity from moderation, and it does not come back if moderation removes the listing. See Payments and refunds.
Sharing your experience
One experience per person, per listing. Write about what actually happened to you. Do not invent events, do not write about someone else's experience as if it were yours, and do not include private information about anyone.
You can delete your own experience at any time. You cannot write a second one about the same listing, and editing closes fifteen minutes after posting.
If a listing is about you
You do not need an account to object. Write to contacto@smok.bid with the listing's address and what is wrong with it, and we will look at it.
We will remove a listing that publishes private data, targets a private individual, contains content about a minor, or is being used for harassment. We will remove an experience that states something as fact which its author cannot have witnessed.
We will not remove a listing simply because you disagree with how people voted, and we will not tell you who voted — votes are private by design and we could not disclose them even if asked.
You may also reply. Contact us and we will publish your response on your own listing, unedited, above the experiences.
Moderation
We can hide any listing or experience at any time, with or without a report. Hiding does not delete: the underlying record is kept so that a decision can be reviewed or reversed.
Accounts used to brigade a listing, to post fabricated experiences, or to file reports in volume can be suspended.
Payments and refunds
Listings and boosts are one-off payments processed by our payment provider. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again.
Payments are not refunded. What you pay for is a position on the board from the moment the payment clears, and that is delivered immediately. Deciding afterwards that you would rather not have paid does not undo it.
Removal and refund are separate. We can hide or remove any listing under Moderation, and doing so never creates a refund — including when we remove it because it broke these terms, because it impersonated someone, or because it published something it should not have. Paying for a listing we later take down is a risk you accept when you pay.
The two exceptions are where the law requires a refund, and where the same payment was charged twice.
No advice
Nothing here is financial, legal or professional advice. People write about money on this site; do not make decisions with your own on the strength of a percentage.
